ENTRY PROCESS
Entries open 07:00 AWST on 21st February 2024 and close 23:59 AWST on 31 March 2025 unless sold out prior. There is a maximum of 200 entrants in total. A wait list will be put in place should the event sell out.
QUALIFICATION
We trust your own judgement of your abilities so if you are delirious enough to consider entering, then you must be delirious enough to enter!!!
DUO & TEAM RULES
Each team member must run at least 2 stages of the event whether in the 100 or 200 miler and part of a duo or part of a team of 3-4.
Team members/duos can ONLY swap over at designated aid stations and cannot access the NO CREW aid stations.
If a team member runs the legs either side of a NO CREW aid station, then this will be considered 2 legs.
Team members MUST swap over their gps spot tracker at each changeover. It is the team’s responsibility to ensure this.

AID STATIONS
There will 20 (10 for the 100 milers) aid stations providing water, tailwind, coke and a carefully selected menu with a variety of sweet and savoury meals, tea and coffee.
Please note that each aid station will vary with its menus and are there to assist you, but it is still highly recommended you have your preferred special requirements in the drop bags for each aid station especially those with dietary requirements.
CUT OFF TIMES
The OVERALL cut off times for each event is as follows:

200 Milers = 104 hours

100 Milers = 64 hours
Each designated ‘sleep station’ will have a cut off time that runners MUST depart the aid station by.
200 MILERS:
- Walpole Sleep Station (accum distance 142.8k, remain 204k) – Depart by 19:00 Thurs (36hrs)
- Peaceful Bay Sleep Station (accum 206k, remain 140.8k) – Depart by 15:00 Fri (54hrs)
- Denmark Rec Centre Sleep Station (accum 266.0k, remain 80.8k) – Depart by 15:00 Sat(80hrs)
- Cosy Corner Sleep Station (accum 313.1k, remain 33.7k) – Depart by 08:00 Sun (97hrs)
- Finish at 258 Frenchman’s Bay Rd by 15:00 Sun (104hrs)
100 MILERS:
- Denmark Rec Centre Aid Station (accum 90.31, remain 75.9) – Depart by 07:00 Sat morn (36 hrs)
- Cosy Corner Aid Station (accum 137.9, remain 28.35) – Depart by 03:00 Sun morn (56 hrs)
- Finish at 258 Frenchman’s Bay Rd by 11:00 Sun (64hrs)
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
ALL RUNNERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO CARRY MANDATORY EQUIPMENT.
These will include:
- A pair of trail shoes to donate to the Jeff Hansen memorial tree at the finish line. These can be handed in at check in and popped in the finish line drop bag area. Alternatively, you may wish to donate the shoes you run in for Delirious.
- An item with the name of your hometown, to “pay the Ferry Master (Jetski operator)” just after Peaceful Bay at the inlet crossing.
- GPX file on watch or handheld gps or on app on phone
- Mobile Phone with Event Ph Numbers saved
- 2 x power banks (1 to be on runner at all times) to recharge mobile phone on the run
- Bivvy Bag
- Mini First Aid Kit:
- Whistle
- Minimum 1.5lt water
- 2 x Headlamps
- Hi vis vest to current AS/NZ standards
- Maps 6,7 & 8 of Bibbulmun Track hard copy or a copy of the course on the GAIA maps app. (only maps 7& 8 for 100 milers).
- Spare batteries (or extra power bank plus charging cord) for headlamps
- Hat
- Waterproof & seam sealed jacket
- thermal long sleeve top and long pants
- 8 x AAA Lithium Longlife batteries (4 x AAA Lithium Longlife batteries for 100 milers)
VOLUNTEERS
The Delirious WEST is a logistical ultra in itself and the event relies on the help of a big team of volunteers to make it happen. If you would like to help ouT for an experience you will never forget, please fill out the form and we’ll be in touch.
All volunteers will receive a Volunteer Tech Shirt, a $400 credit to use on any upcoming Ultra Series Event (to be used in one transaction) and a complimentary lunch at the finish village in Frenchman’s Bay on the Sunday from 1pm.
